"Decent car, just a little worn 🙂"
The car got the job done and drove fine, but it definitely felt a bit used. The seats had some stains, which wasn’t ideal, but overall it was okay for what I needed.

I booked a mid-size car on thrifty’s website, so I figured it would be ready when I showed up. Unfortunately, when I got to the counter, they told me they didn’t have any available. I ended up waiting around for a bit and then had to take a smaller car, which barely fit our bags. The staff was fine, but it was disappointing. The whole reason I booked ahead was to avoid this kind of hassle, and it made for a frustrating start to the trip.

"No surprises on the bill"
I rented a car through thrifty.com last week, the billing was exactly what I expected. I’m always a little suspicious with rental companies because if something weird shows up later, I don’t have much faith that customer service will make it easy to fix. "Pickup spot was a hassle to find"
The car itself was fine, no real issues there. The problem was getting to the pickup location. I thought I left enough time, or maybe I got there earlier than I think, but it still felt like I spent forever wandering around trying to figure out where to go. The signs weren’t very clear, and at some point I wasn’t even sure if I’d passed the right area already or was still looking for it. Once I finally found it, everything was okay, but the whole pickup part was way more stressful than it needed to be.

The car itself was fine, but later I got hit with a damage claim that I really didn’t agree with. It took a few calls to get it sorted out, which was frustrating. whoever runs this needs to make the process clearer because it added way more stress than I expected.

"Deposit hold isn’t as smooth as it used to be"
I rented from Thrifty and the car itself was fine. Pickup and drop-off were straightforward, and the price was decent, so I can’t really complain about that part.
The frustrating part was the deposit hold. I feel like this used to be handled faster, but this time it sat on my card longer than I expected. Support wasn’t much help either, just gave me generic answers. I did get it back eventually, but it added stress to what should’ve been a simple rental.

"Picked up a dirty rental car"
I rented through Thrifty, the car looked like it had barely been cleaned. There were crumbs in the seats, something sticky by the cup holder, and the inside had this weird old-food smell. It just felt gross to get into a car that was supposed to be ready for the next customer.

I mentioned it to the desk, but they basically said it was the only car available. I get that things get busy, but if people are paying all those fees, the least a company can do is hand over a clean car. I ended up wiping it down myself before driving, which really shouldn’t have been my responsibility.

"Easy drop-off, but a little more guidance would’ve helped"
Dropping the car off was easy enough, and the signs were actually clear, so I’ll give them that. It only took a few minutes, which was nice. That said, the staff didn’t really explain anything, and I had to ask where I was supposed to leave the keys, which was a bit annoying. Overall, it was fine, but it definitely could’ve been a smoother process.

The staff was rude from the start, and I blame them for making the whole experience so frustrating. Nobody bothered to explain anything, so I was left confused and annoyed the entire time.

"Decent shuttle, just slower than I hoped"
The airport shuttle did show up late which was a little frustrating because I was already tired and just wanted to get moving, but the driver was friendly enough and helped keep the mood okay, so overall it wasn’t a terrible experience, just slower than I would’ve liked.

"Decent deal, just a little confusing at pickup"
I booked through thrifty.com because it was cheaper than a few other places I looked, though I was a bit confused why the prices were so different across sites. The car itself was basic, but it was clean and got me where I needed to go. Pickup took longer than I expected, and I wasn’t totally sure which line I was supposed to be in at first, but it all worked out. For the price, I can’t really complain too much. I’d probably use them again if the rates stay this low.

I’ve used thrifty.com a couple of times now and, it’s been mostly fine. The prices were what I saw online, and the whole booking process felt, you know, safe enough. Pickup was a little slow one time, but nothing felt sketchy or anything. I’d probably use them again.

I booked a car through thrifty.com and everything was exactly how it was supposed to be when I got to the counter. Same dates, same pickup time, and the car class matched what I had reserved.
I was kind of ready for some mix up or extra hassle, but there really wasn’t any. The price was the same as the confirmation email too, which was nice to see for once.

Overall it was a simple exprience. It’s always a relief when a reservation is just accurate and you don’t have to stand there arguing about it.
